Sexual  Predation
Sexual Predation - Paraphilias & Typologies
Sexual Predation is the cornerstone class for classic psychological profiling.
G. W. Hildebrand teaches the basic typologies along with material regarding the role that fantasies and paraphilic
behaviors play in the making of sexual predators.  This foundation class prepares investigators for both effective
and successful investigations by learning what causes a sexual predator to offend.  Sexual predation offers a
brief overview of human sexuality combined with an in depth look at deviant sexual behaviors that often cross
over the statutory lines of society.  Emphasis is placed on the value of the verbal, physical and sexual behavior of
sexual predators and their interaction with assault victims.

Professor Hildebrand retired from the Texas Rangers in February 2004 after 26 years of dedicated service with
the Department of Public Safety. He is one of only two FBI trained and certified Psychological Profilers in Texas
and is a committee chair for the International Criminal Investigative Analysis Fellowship and Department Chair for
the Criminal Justice program at Austin College. Inspector G. W. Hildebrand has developed expertise in criminal
investigation, questionable death, crime scene search, interrogation, statement analysis, and sexual violence and
predation. He has investigated, consulted upon, and reviewed over 2500 violent crimes throughout his career.
He continues to provide investigative analysis in several criminal topics for law enforcement. Inspector Hildebrand
lectures and presents cutting-edge programs to law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and other criminal justice
professionals.
